Former YouTuber Lindsay Ellis was born on 24 November 1984 in Johnson City, Tennessee. She grew up in Johnson City, Tennesse. She had her education at New York University in 2007 where she graduated with BA in Film Studies. She also completed school at USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2011.
From 2008 to 2014, she worked for the Channel Awesome production business as The Nostalgia Chick, a rival to the Nostalgia Critic. Lindsay worked as a YouTuber from 2014 to 2021 when she finally decided to quit. She usually makes videos about Walt Disney Pictures films. Some of her works also include “The Whole Plate”.
