She was born as a special child because she was affected with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD) so she got all the love and care from her parents and they later spent her life at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, United States of America as she moved with her family.
When she became an adult she found herself a queer and left her family with a fear of judgment on her queer identity hence she started living alone and this decision caused a lot of difficulty for her as she was physically challenged. She struggled with her daily routines like eating, sleeping, and others.
When it comes to her educational background, Stacey Park Milbern completed her Master’s of Business Administration degree in 2015 and also got her MBA degree from Mills College.

In 2007, Stacey Park Milbern played a major role in passing and writing the law related to education and teaching of the disability history curriculum in all schools.
She moved to San Francisco Bay Area to focus more on her work to speak, write and organize for the justice of disabled people.
She eventually became the director of the Center For Independent Living and in 2014 she was appointed by former US president Barack Obama as the president of the Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
