He transferred to Prolific Prep in Napa, California for his senior year.

Green led his club to a 31–3 record by averaging 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and five assists per game.

For college, Green announced he will skip it and join the NBA G League, he ditched college and chose the G League over offers from Auburn, Oregon, and Memphis.

Green signed a one-year, $600,000 deal with the NBA G League Ignite, a developmental team connected with the NBA G League, on April 16, 2020.

He was the first member of the team to join.

Green had a season-high 30 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in a 127–102 first-round playoff loss to the Raptors 905 on March 8, 2021.
